AGS SQL Server 2005 Utilities Version 1.0 AGS SQL Server 2005 Utilities is a package of Functions and Stored Procedures for Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Written using SQL CLR these functions have only been seen before using complex TSQL or Extended Properties. These functions are brilliantly quick and simple to use. Please see the list of functions below. String Functions AGS_SplitString This function will return a sub string from a delimetered input string. Simply pass the input string, the delimeter, the output string and index to return. AGS_FormatDate This function will format a Date value using string formatting syntax. This is more robust than TSQL convert AGS_FormatNumber This will format a number using string formatting syntax Compression AGS_Compress This will compress a value and return a varbinary value. If the length of the item compress is smaller than the compressed varbinary then the orginal value is returned in a varbinary format.
