Producers of audio podcasts need editing and recording software, the ability to create an RSS feed of their recording, and an ftp client to upload the podcast to a destination URL on the Internet. ePodcast Creator does it all. Prerecord your own music, interviews, podsafe music files, LPs, etc., from external sources (mics, mixers) and internal sources supported by your sound card (streaming audio, CDs), or import wma, mp3 and wav files. Record yourself singing, playing, or speaking along with the prerecorded tracks. The prerecorded track plays back while you record your voice. Prerecorded sound files for your podcast can be assigned to F buttons on the program screen and computer keyboard for accessibility while recording the Voice Track. Fade in and out of the prerecorded sound files while recording your voiceover. You have complete control of the level of each track and the stereo pan (the amount of sound in the left and right channels). You can also create a podcast entirely from prerecorded audio files, put together like a patchwork quilt. Edit with professional tools and effects. Editing tools include select, cut, copy, paste, clear, delete, undo/redo, crop, cut selection to file, copy selection to file, add silence, and change format. Editing effects are EQ, reverse, normalize, chorus, flange, echo, amplify, fade in and out, and mix. Save your files as MP3 or Wav, or export to WMA. Uploading to the internet is easy with the upload wizard. Just fill in the information in each of 7 windows, and ePodcast Creator does the work. There is a help button on every page. The complete product manual is available free from the Blaze Audio dot com website, as well as free online videos and text tutorials, and there is free lifetime email support.
