HarePoint Workflow Extensions provides a new functionality for SharePoint workflow by adding over 180 new ready to use activities for workflow development. These activities allow to create and convert Microsoft Office documents; process images (resizing, modification); convert documents to PDF; operate with SQL and XML; work with Active Directory, work with InfoPath, administrate SharePoint users, groups and sites; operate with messaging (email, instant messages, Twitter, etc.); execute C#, Visual Basic code and run PowerShell scripts from the workflow; and much more - there are 15 different groups of activities totally. Over 30 activities from 3 groups are offered completely free of charge. Built-in "Encrypt Credentials" tool provides the possibility to set up encrypted logins and passwords for different activities and achieve the highest level of workflow security. HarePoint Workflow Extensions allows users to create complex workflows with the assistance of well-known tools: Microsoft SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Visual Studio. This fact and great features makes this solution very attractive for organizations that would like to avoid using complicated platforms and solutions for workflow authoring.
