Kakra Private Disk,an easy-to-use software to protect sensitive data on notebooks, personal computers, removable and flash disk. It makes a plain hard disk into a private disk that can be accessed by its owner only. It provides transparent "on-the-fly" encryption for your notebook or desktop personal computer. On-the-fly encryption means that data are automatically encrypted or decrypted right before they are loaded or saved, without any user intervention.
Kakra Private Disk encrypt your entire hard disk (sometimes it use a special partition), so that you don't have to worry about leaving the decrypted messages on your disk. The approach is similar to Stacker's disk compression program, but these packages encrypt instead. Unlike similar programs, Kakra Private Disk allows you to create variable size drives. It does not require you to allocate a specific size for your encrypted drive.Kakra Private Disk does not contain backdoors or government induced escrow keys that would allow the police, or any other authority to decrypt your confidential information.
