The main obstacle in processing XML documents in insurance, banking, and financial (brokerage) businesses is parsing - the step when the components of XML document are transformed from a stream of text data to application objects. Memory XML API product is based on the presentation of XML documents as a tree that contiguously resides in the memory and is simultaneously a stream that can be directly stored and an application object that can be directly accessed through its API. For this presentation the parsing is a simple copy from any stream to the memory and after that it is ready to be accessed by the application through Memory XML API. Product Memory XML API is built as a static library in Microsoft Visual C++ 6 environment that is linked into your program when the executable file is built and provides methods for developing of robust applications to manipulate various XML documents without initial parsing them. Memory XML API has all functionality of DOM Interface and its usage is more efficient than any known parser by the elapsed time that a parser needs to parse XML documents. The experiments that were accomplished with XML documents 1.5kb and standard DOM parser shown that Memory XML API is 50 and more times faster.
