It has web interface with the equal appearance and functionality on the local and remote workstations. Users watch MPEG-4 coded video and have full control of the software through network that surveillance workstation can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular configuration considerably boosts reliability because all parts proceed as autonomous software. If one module fails, other units go on running. For instance if the `capture` component fails, `watchdog` starts over it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture via a `playback` module. The software makes `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be non-stop or it can be turned on by movement, human face detection, or by timetable.The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on apart workstation through Web interface.The program does simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many cameras simultaneously.
