Remote Backup Genie is FREE software that is secure and easy to use for our online backup service. You also receive a FREE 1 GB (compressed) storage account using our FREE software (Remote Backup Genie) that supports all the same features of the subscription accounts. Remote Backup Genie features include: 256 Bit EAS Encryption, local copy option, e-mail notification, backup registry, disaster recovery, version control, daily scheduler and automatic server report of successful daily backups. Note: Must sign up for a Username and Password account at homepage to be able to backup your files to server and use the program. Encryption password is entered during installation. Please keep the encryption password you choose in a safe place as you will need it to encrypt your files before leaving your PC or Laptop and sent to the backup server. Encryption password is also used during the resorting of files. Akron Archives does not store encryption passwords for your protection.
