rollsql is a simple, easy to use program for creating rollout scripts to run against Microsoft SQL Server databases. A batch file using the SQL Server command line tools (osql.exe, sqlcmd.exe) is used to execute your scripts. The output is captured during execution and displayed, high lighting any errors. Any number of folders and files can be setup to run against any number of servers. Using folder names, the database can be automatically determined, or you can run against selected databases only. Complex rollouts can be made repeatable using control files to specify run order of files: first, last or ignore.
