Screencams are programs that allows the user to save the content of his computer desktop as a video clip.


In general those are good and useful pieces of software, but more and more of them are abused to save private (sometimes very personal) video conversations as a clip uploaded on the internet later. Protect your privacy!


How does ScreenCam Protector work?


In parallel to your chat you and your chat buddy start ScreenCam Protector and connect your computers via internet.


If your chat buddy start a screencam application on his PC an alarm will be triggered on you PC and vise versa. You can configure how ScreenCam Protector handles an alarm, e.g. ring an alarm bell, stop the cam, close the chat .....
