SonoReplicator VST enables VST-supporting music creation software to turn your PC speakers and earphones into acoustic copies (replicas) of studio monitors or any other (e.g., having better sound) real or ideal PC speakers and earphones. The replication is implemented by means of digital preprocessing of the sound. Use SonoReplicator to improve sound of your PC speakers and earphones. Even very cheap loudspeakers and earphones will sound much better.
SonoReplicator VST is a VST effect plug-in for music creation and edition software. It is necessary to install such a music creation software to your PC before the installation of SonoReplicator VST. After that you can install SonoReplicator VST and turn your PC speakers and earphones into replicas of desired ones.
The process of replication includes measurement of your speakers or earphones and measurement of desired (high quality) speakers or earphones with a microphone. Alternatively, if you don't have a pair of high quality speakers or earphones, you may choose to replicate ideal speakers or earphones. The frequency response of ideal speakers is integrated into the program, so it is not necessary to measure it. Use the ideal frequency response to turn your speakers and earphones into acoustic replicas of studio monitors. The detailed description of the replication process can be found in the program's Help. Just follow the instructions.
It is known that cheap loudspeakers and earphones often have "plastic sound". The "plastic sound" is caused by specific resonances of plastic boxes of speakers and earphones.
