Swiftlet Linx is a combination of a web browser, a parser that can parse HTML documents, extract links, metatags etc., and a database management system. Integration of these three functions into a single software suite makes it an ideal tool for maintaining link databases. The browser is an instance of the Microsoft« Webbrowser component that comes with Microsoft« Internet Explorer and the database system is Microsoft« Jet database, which is the same database engine used in Microsoft« Access. HTML parsing is done using MS HTML component. will run on any system with Win 9X, ME, 2000 or XP installed with Internet Explorer.
