The software application "Today" is a calendar / event journal based on the Greek Orthodox Church holidays."Today" shows every day all name days, religious and historical information and lots of astronomical data. You can also add your own dates, countdows and much more. The application also works with Outlook, Outlook Express and Windows Mail showing all your contacts that have a name day and their phone number. With "Today" you can do the following: For every day, the current holiday is displayed, along with the names that celebrate (name days). All data is based on the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church. Floating events and name days (based on Orthodox Easter) are correctly calculated. Shows detailed ecclesiastical feasts & Saints. Shows every day and for the next days who's celebrating! Opens up every day and shows information about the current and next days. You can enter your own dates like birthdays, anniversaries etc. Also has a countdown window, to show how many days are left to any event (really useful for wedding dates!) Works with Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express and Windows Mail to remind us of all the name days, birthdays and anniversaries of our friends. "Today" analyzes all the contacts in your Outlook, Outlook Express and Windows Mail address book, and shows you every day who has a name day celebrating. If you also use the "birthday" and "anniversary" columns in outlook, then it will remind you them also! (Outlook collaboration is only supported in the full edition of "Today"). This feature will also work with greeklish names, for example "basilis", "maria" etc. You can print custom calendars with your photo and events! With "Today" you can print custom monthly calendars with internal and user events, birthdays etc. Customization of both style and contents. "Today" shows off your favorite pictures. Searches your pictures and displays the "photo of the day". The program creates impressive photo mixes of your pictures, that can be used as a desktop background or screen saver. The desktop background can change automatically every day or every custom amount of minutes (like every hour). Your photo mixes can also be used as an impressive screen saver. And much more! Lot's of astronomical data. See real-time how many kilometers away the sun is and when the next eclipse will be. Skin support. The user interface can be toggled between the english and greek languages, although the actual holidays and name days are displayed in Greek. The application supports displaying Greek even on non-greek windows.
