Zone [V] is a program for PalmOS-devices, which assists you in creating photographic images according to the zone system developed by Ansel Adams.Simply meter the Shadow- and Lightzone with a spotmeter, enter the values in Zone [V] and you will get a suggestion for the exposure of your picture. Zone [V] is nevertheless very easy and fast to use, so just concentrate on your motive and what you want to express with your picture, not on calculating the best exposure settings for your picture. To ease your work with different films you can create profiles for them and switch between them with a few taps on the screen. You have also the possibility to create corrections for filters. You can combine up to four different corrections for one exposure, it's all done in a few taps.After measurements are done, you have the possibility to save your exposure- and camerasettings. This data can be transfered to your desktop computer or laptop when you're at home again - no more false developed films.Zone [V] keeps track of your exposures, entered corrections, used film, motive, used bodys or backs and camerashifts or -tilts.Transfer your precious Exposuresettings via Hotsync in the Windows-Application of Zone [V]. Modify there your profiles, corrections, lenses and transfer the data back to your PalmOS-device.Im- and export your entered data as XML-File for easy integration into other applications or print out your exposuredata for your archive or darkroom.
